About Us

Our Story

Fritts and Chips have been playing music together for a long time.  Our full names are Eric Fritts and Bryce Harding.  We had a mutual friend who would constantly tell us that we needed to get together and play music.  We eventually took him up on his request and set a day and time to jam out and we have been doing so ever since.  

After a lot of practicing and song learning in a basement we started to get hired for private parties.  As more people got to know our sound and style we were getting recommended to play corporate parties and events including a party for Dan Gilbert and special events for 94.7 WCSX.   

Wedding requests started to pour in and we felt like we had a unique opportunity with our skill sets to offer something different.  There wasn’t a good option that sat between expensive wedding bands and just hiring a DJ so we created one!  We started offering this new wedding option of infusing live music and a DJ together and the response has been amazing.  

We share a similar philosophy about wanting things to be high quality and professional but at the same time we keep things loose and fun and leave room for spontaneity. At this point we have played every situation imaginable as a music group and continue to meet new people and have a great time!
